American Heart Association CPR Training: Know how to save a life
With American Heart Association CPR Training, people can acquire the necessary skills to recognize and respond to a life-threatening emergency in infants, children and adults. GTHP is certified through American Heart Association to instruct CPR at two levels. All necessary equipment is provided.
Family and Friends CPR
This American Heart Association course is designed for those who do not need to maintain a certification but want the confidence of knowing what to do in an emergency. Friends and Family CPR teaches you how to perform CPR on adults, children and infants and how to help an adult, child, or infant who is choking. No written or skills test is required. A course participation card is provided. Length of course is approximately 2-3 hours. GTHP can conduct this training at the location of your choice.
Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Training: Know how to save a life
This is an American Heart Association Healthcare Provider course designed for those who need certification or need to renew their certification. This course covers Adult, Child and Infant CPR, AED, and foreign-body airway obstruction. Successful completion of the skills and written examination is required for certification. After completing this course you will have confidence in your ability to respond to an emergency.
This level is designed for all healthcare providers including physicians, medical technicians, nurses, therapists, police officers, dentists and other allied heath care professionals. Length of the course is approximately 2-4 hours and is conducted in the workplace or the location of your choice.
